How do we get started?
Call us for a demo. We walk through invoice → payment → purchase → month-end in plain language, on your business type — retail, distribution, rental, or manufacturing.
Do I need a separate accounting package?
No for most day-to-day work. Simple Bills includes double-entry accounting, customer and vendor ledgers, bank transactions, and financial reports in the same system you use to bill and buy stock.
Is it only for GST registered businesses?
It is built for Indian GST workflows — CGST, SGST, IGST, summaries, and filing-pack exports. If you are not registered yet, you can still use invoicing and books; add GSTIN when you register.
Does Simple Bills file GST on the government portal?
No. Simple Bills prepares invoices, summaries, and a GST filing pack (GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B support files) for your CA. You or your CA still file on gst.gov.in after checking GSTR-2B and your bills.
Can it handle TDS on payments?
Yes. Record TDS when you pay vendors or when customers deduct TDS on receipts. Export a TDS summary CSV for your CA — the app does not submit TDS returns for you.
What about last year's balances?
The setup wizard and opening balances screen help you start a financial year with cash, bank, stock, and customer dues already in place — so reports match reality from day one.
